Discovery and Preparation Element Support

As required by the QMS process, we kindly ask you to rate how well the Discovery and Preparation Elements of the Basic Activities are supporting your objectives.

The Preparation Element supports the implementation of pre-Phase A and Phase A activities as well as the internal CDF activities.

The Discovery Element supports external driven novel and innovative ideas. It encompasses the three schemes co-sponsored Research activities, Studies and Early Technology Developments.

As part of its objectives to support open innovation and transparency, the programm also works on the

  • Open Space Innovation Platform (OSIP) https://ideas.esa.int
  • Activities portal https://activities.esa.int to disseminate interim results of running activities
  • Nebula portal as public repository of final deliverables https://nebula.esa.int
